Rosyne Club was created in 2021. Since its beginnings, the brand has developed between Montpellier, Paris, and Cotonou, with a clear goal: to build a contemporary wardrobe connected to Benin, materials, volumes, and transmission.

The name Rosyne pays tribute to Rosyne, the mother of Jamal Chleuh, co-founder of the brand. A seamstress, she early on passed down a love for fabrics, markets, sewing, and well-constructed clothing. The word Club expresses the idea of an open community around a shared vision of style.

Rosyne Club was co-founded by Jamal Chleuh and Gildas. Their vision is based on contemporary, expressive fashion connected to Benin, with particular attention to volumes, materials, craftsmanship, and garment construction.

Rosyne Club was built between Cotonou, Montpellier, and Paris. Cotonou represents the origins, the workshop, the materials, and transmission. Montpellier marked the brand’s initial commercial development. Paris embodies its fashion, urban, and contemporary influence.

The Rosyne Club logo represents a cowrie shell, an emblematic shell of Benin and many West African cultures. It evokes value, transmission, heritage, beauty, and the link between past and present.

The Rosyne Club Paris boutique is located at 15 rue Étienne Marcel, 75001 Paris, on the first floor of the 235th Barber Shop. It opened at the end of 2024 and features a selection of collections as well as exclusive pieces.

The Rosyne Club Montpellier boutique is located at 909 avenue des Platanes, 34970 Lattes. This new boutique, opened in December 2025, is the brand’s first point of sale and also houses its offices.

Since 2026, Rosyne Club has had its own boutique at the Marché de Ganhi (1st floor), as well as a presence in the Sofitel boutique in Cotonou. The brand also has its own manufacturing workshop there.

Rosyne Club is also present in Abidjan within the No Caption boutique, Galerie Desjardins, Le Vallon.

Yes. Since 2022, Rosyne Club has had its own manufacturing workshop in Cotonou, Benin. This workshop is at the heart of collection development: prototypes, pattern making, manufacturing, adjustments, quality control, and the development of new silhouettes.

The workshop currently brings together more than 30 collaborators over an area of about 250 m². Tailors, pattern makers, cutters, and finishing teams participate daily in the development of the collections.

Our workshop is primarily a creative tool. It allows us to develop our own volumes, create prototypes, test new materials, improve cuts, and oversee each creation until its final version. It also provides us with a direct connection to Beninese craftsmanship.

Rosyne Club operates according to a hybrid production model. A significant portion of the creations is developed and made in our workshop in Cotonou, while certain pieces or specific techniques may be carried out with specialized partners. This organization allows us to choose the most suitable expertise for each creation.

Producing in Benin is a foundational choice. It allows Rosyne Club to stay close to its roots, work with local crafts, and develop collections through an ongoing dialogue between contemporary design and Beninese textile heritage.

Many steps require manual work: cutting, assembling, adjustments, finishing, and quality control. This attention to detail contributes to the character of each creation.

Kanvô is a traditional Beninese fabric woven in strips, especially in the Abomey region. It is one of the country’s emblematic textile crafts. Rosyne Club reinterprets it in contemporary silhouettes to extend this tradition into a modern wardrobe.

Kanvô is not used as a simple decorative pattern. It is a living material that is part of Benin’s textile history. For Rosyne Club, it represents a craft we want to keep alive through contemporary creations.

Kanvô is handwoven by several Beninese artisans. Each works at their own pace and skill level. Rosyne Club adapts its creations to the actual availability of Kanvô strips rather than imposing an industrial schedule.

Since Kanvô is entirely handwoven, its availability depends on the artisans’ work. We have sometimes postponed making a piece because the latest Kanvô strips were not yet available. We prefer to wait as long as necessary rather than replace this material or compromise our approach.

Each product page includes a detailed size guide. Many Rosyne Club creations are deliberately designed with oversized or loose volumes. If you’re unsure between two sizes, choose based on the look you want: more fitted or more relaxed.

Some creations are intentionally designed to be large. Oversized t-shirts, balloon pants, boxy shirts, and loose shorts are part of Rosyne Club's identity. The dimensions listed on each product page help you choose the desired fit.

A Balloon cut is characterized by generous volume around the legs that gradually tapers down. This iconic Rosyne Club silhouette brings movement, comfort, and an immediately recognizable visual identity.

A Boxy cut features a wider and shorter silhouette than a classic cut. It offers more structure to the shoulders and bust while maintaining great freedom of movement.

Depending on the models, Rosyne Club offers clothing from XS up to 4XL. Our goal is to allow different body types to wear the same silhouettes and volumes.
